You See, Here's The Thing!
This is Miami, Florida. Sleep all day, party all night long. Nothing is stopping you. Parental units are pretty much somehow inexistent for most of the kids here. I suppose the only thing keeping you from doing whatever you want, well most of the time that is.....is school.
It's You, Not Me!
School is the battle of it's own. Slept with your bestfriends boyfriend lately? Someone will make sure the entire school knows about it. Will you be accepted? Or will you be the reject of the year? Three failed relationships already? Aw, it's not him, though, it's most likely you. Feel free to prove me wrong anytime now. Spilled that neon colored drink down the most popular girl in school's shirt lately? Any mistakes, and it's going to be a long, bumpy ride for you my friend. If you can get through school without becoming one of "the lowers", life will be a party, but the odds are definitely not in your favor.

Name: Adrienne Butterfield Age: 30 Alliance: Good side Character Model: (Celebrity claim, basically)
Personality: She's 5'7 and heavyset. She tends to keep to herself except when she's in her bakery and cafe. She owns one of the most successful businesses in town: Adrienne's Bakery and Cafe.
History She was born to Arline and Richard Butterfield in December 1978. Her younger sister, Alexis was born in December 1983. Her parents divorced in May of 1989, just after Adrienne finished fifth grade at the local parish grade school. She graduated grade school in May of 1993. From September of 1993 to June 1997 she was attending high school like any other teenager. Tragically, while she was attending college she was involved in a car crash with a drunk driver. She was a passenger in the car which got hit. This accident severed her spinal cord at her waist and left her paralyzed from the waist down. Fortunately though, she managed to fight her way back and graduate with a double major in Culinary Arts and Business. She then moved to town and has been here since.

Name: Violet Marie Beauregarde Age: 11 Alliance: Good Side really, but she’s sort of forced into the bad side. Character Model: AnnaSophia Robb
Appearance: ((with makeup covering her blue skin))
Violet is 4'9" and has blue-green eyes and blonde hair ((dyed back from blue)), which is cut into a pageboy cut, which is shampooed and conditioned every day to make it look perfectly silky.
Violet’s facial features are soft and delicate.
She has a slightly pointed chin and her eyes are quite big. Her nose is a sensible size, not too big and not too small. Her smile is wide and big, making it rather infectious.
Violet’s nails have been given a French manicure.
When she is competing or preparing for a competition, Violet usually wears a blue tracksuit with white tennis shoes.
Personality: Violet is definitely the most sympathetic of the four children who did not win the ultimate prize.
After the incident at the factory, Violet became much more humble and even somewhat timid. Although still rather competitive, she has cooled down a lot.
She is currently rather happy with the fact that she is much more flexible. However, she doesn’t particularly like the fact that she is blue, and hopes that it will either eventually fade, or that she’ll be able to get Charlie or Mr Wonka to change her back.
Despite being dragged into plotting Willy Wonka’s demise, Violet does not harbor any ill will to the chocolatier, and does wish to warn him about the plot.
History Violet Marie Beauregarde was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
Her mother, Scarlett Beauregarde, was always a typical stage mother, having pressured Violet to succeed in everything. As a result, Violet has won 263 trophies and medals.
Violet’s father divorced from her mother shortly after Scarlett began to force Violet to compete.
She is a very accomplished martial artist, having been able to take down two fully-grown black belts with extreme ease. She was also a junior world champion in gum-chewing.
However, this all changed when she won a Golden Ticket to go to Willy Wonka’s world-famous chocolate factory.
She couldn’t resist the idea of a three-course-dinner stick of gum. Despite being told not to chew on it, she did anyway. Big mistake. Violet proceeded to turn blue and blow up to ten feet, becoming extremely round and large, filling up with blueberry juice.
Violet managed to get rolled to the Juicing Room and get all the juice squeezed out of her to prevent risk of exploding.
She left the factory a changed girl: she was now much more humble and was not nearly as nasty as she was before.
She has managed to get by now: she is now much more flexible, despite still being blue. She has since dyed her hair back to it’s usual blonde, and uses makeup to cover the blue. She is hopeful that the blue layers of skin will eventually come off and she will return to normal.
Recently, she and her mother, along with the rest of the other children that attended the factory (apart from Charlie) have met with Slugworth to plot the demise of Mister Willy Wonka.
However, Violet does not want to do this. She does not blame Mister Wonka for what happened (the incident has knocked some sense into her), and plans to find some way to warn him.
Occupation: Student.
Other Information: Violet is still blue and, though she doesn’t know it yet, she will occasionally blow up in size from time to time (though not to the same extent as before), which will require her to be juiced again. This will continue until a permanent cure can be administered.
Roleplay Example: ((Violet’s thoughts and feelings when she swelled up.))
"Mother?" Violet asked, her voice betraying the fear she was now feeling, "what’s happening to me?"
She raised up her hand in front of her face and saw the blue tinge spread so that her entire arm was now blue.
Violet felt wet and looked down to see that her tracksuit was now soaked and stained the same colour that she was turning. She let out a whimper, her fear level shooting up through the roof.
It felt like she really needed to go to the toilet, and she saw her body expand, her rear end first, followed by her hips, then her legs and then her stomach.
She felt her cheeks expand, like she was holding a gallon of water in her mouth. Her eyes darted around fearfully, and she felt (and looked) like she was going to throw up.
Not knowing what else to do, Violet placed her hands on her chest and felt it expand slowly but surely.
She then grew so big that her arms were forced to the side and dented into her body, so that she couldn’t do anything with them.
Her head did the same, and Violet got the distinct feeling of being trapped.
She continued to make whimpers and whines, scared out of her wits.
She then heard music echoing across the Inventing Room and felt something push her and several things drop onto her.
After a few moments, she realized that it was the Oompa Loompas, and they were singing a song about her.
If Violet wasn’t so scared, she would have been furious that the Oompa Loompas were making light of this situation. She was terrified, and tears were welling up in her eyes. Tears which tasted like blueberry juice.
Violet began to scream at the top of her lungs as she was rolled along the floor, and her head was squashed against the floor, rendering her unable to breathe until her head came out again and the process repeated.
She then felt her tongue begin to swell ever so slightly, making it stick in her mouth. This was a terrible feeling, and made Violet feel as if someone had shoved a sock in her mouth.
As the song ended, she was rolled out of the Inventing Room and into the boat, to be taken to the Juicing Room.
As she travelled to the Juicing Room, she felt the blueberry juice inside her being to grow, and she began oozing blue juice from every orifice. She was now utterly soaked, her hair all sticky and pasted to her head.
Violet felt like she was drowning. Blue juice was coming out of her eyes, ears, mouth and nose, as well as certain other areas that made it even more embarrassing.
They finally got to the Juicing Room and Violet was placed in a device that looked like a giant vice. It was tightened, which caused the berry juice to come rushing out of every pore in Violet body, which was extremely uncomfortable.
Violet screamed as loud as she could until it was over.
She stood there, drenched in berry juice, looking rather like someone had emptied a bucket of blue slime all over her, and she leant forward and then snapped back, sending a lot of juice everywhere, and making her hair slick back.

As Violet walked back towards the entrance with her mother, her brain was going a mile a minute. She had discovered that she was extremely flexible now, capable of bending right back and crawling underneath her own legs.
Also, she had time to think. And she had come to the conclusion that this was all her fault. She should have listened to Mister Wonka and not taken the gum. She did hope that she got an opportunity to apologize to him for the trouble she had caused.

I figured I should give some sort of... background information on myself so we all get started off nice and acquainted. Sound good? Good.
Uhh, let's see, where to start, where to start... Hi, I'm Adam, and you are?

Well, I've been role playing for about four years, collectively. I'm from Northern Ireland and I'm a writer.
Perhaps a bit of history on how this board and freakishly random plot came into place? Well, it all started with this poster:
The creator (and former admin) of this site got bored a while ago, so they started randomly playing around with different things in ArcSoft, and thought back to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and wondered what it would be like if there were people trying to kill Wonka for reasons unknown. The poster was the result.
I know that it's a little, erm, sadistic of anyone to think about anybody killing this happy candy man, but they just thought it would be interesting, and I agree. We've both always been fans of dark things, even though most everything that we like ends happily, and this plot kind of came from a whole bunch of fanfictions that I've read over the years, (that aren't just CatCF, mind you), and they've sat around before being compiled into a, sort of, neat plot. Although this would completely ruin it for children, we don't have to worry about that, because only 13 and up can register for Proboards boards! ^^
This board was originally made back in... oh gosh, I really don't even know! However, the admn ended up having too much on their plate, so she handed it over to me. It died out, but now I'm reviving it again, because I'd just really like to see how this storyline would play out.
Anyway, I really hope you didn't take the time to read all of that... I know that it was severely boring.

It was a cold, rainy night. The clouds hung low over the quite empty chocolate factory that stood alone amongst a few trees. He had specifically chosen this location so that his business remained a secret- or at least far more so than the Wonka man's. Each new invention that the young chocolatier came up with brought with it yet another drop in sales of Slugworth's products. It angered the man more than anybody would ever know, and he swore from the day that Willy Wonka had first opened his factory that he would have revenge.

And Slugworth wasn't the only one that wanted the world rid of Wonka confections- a certain four children and their parents were also seeking, somewhat of a revenge, against the infamous man that had traumatized their children for life. Thanks to him, one had eaten his fingers right off, another smelled of garbage no matter how many baths she took, yet another was twice as tall as any normal man and paper-thin, and the last one was permanently died a hideous shade of violet. The parents each wanted Wonka to pay for what he had done to their children, and would stop at nothing.

Little did Slugworth, the parents, or the children, know that each was planning their own secret revenge on the candy man that had wronged them, until one fateful day when their paths had crossed.

Each, in turn, briefed the others on what their idea for vengeance was, and they eventually came to the conclusion of what to do. Kill Willy Wonka.

However, we all know that where there is evil, there is good, and everybody at Wonka's factory was on the good side. They knew that they outnumbered their enemy (what with all of the Oompa Loompas), but with the angered confectioners, distraught children and horrified parents, it was no doubt that they were a force to be reckoned with.

The RP style, in general, here is Para RP, meaning paragraph role playing. However, if you are more comfortable using *, <, |, etc., you may.
I'm sure now that you've heard 'Para RPing', you're dreading how long I'm going to say posts have to be. They can be however long or short you want. Canons should, perhaps, have slightly more than non-, but it's really up to you. I know that sometimes situations and other peoples' posts don't give you a lot to go on, so it's understandable if you can not post a lot.
Avatars must be no larger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels and must display your character. If you cannot find or make an avatar, please don't hesitate to ask for one by PMing admin or a moderator. We will gladly help find or make an avatar for you.
Signatures do not have to display your character, but please keep any phrases and such character-related. They may be however big or small you would like, but keep it reasonable.
More rules will be added to the list should problems arise.
